This body of work focuses around discussing mnemonic intentions implied within sensuous objects. The shaving brush intrigues me, how its use provides an intimate, luxurious experience through utilitarian function while simultaneously becoming an object which teaches an adolescent boy how to become a man. By reinterpreting these forms and presenting them as jewellery, I hope to present a dialogue surrounding intimate, analogous physical experiences.
